Students leave classes, go to shrine with band party

There have been allegations that students left classes at Nitira Fajushah High School in Arial Union of Tongibari Upazila of Munshiganj and went to the shrine for a pilgrimage after holding a rally with a band party. The rally was taken out with the students from the school at around 10:15 am on Wednesday.
According to school sources, Matiur Rahman Radhi, who introduced himself as the school's dreamer, took out a rally with the students at around 10:15 am. Later, they left the school with the students for the pilgrimage.
Matiur Rahman Radhi said that the rally was taken out with the permission of the school's teaching staff.
However, the school's assistant teacher Abdur Rouf said that no permission was taken from the education office in this regard. He claimed that the students were taken to the shrine with the permission of the headmaster.
In this regard, the school's headmaster Md. Moniruzzaman said that he did not give any permission to take out the rally with the students. He was not in the school when the rally was taken out.
When asked about the students being taken out of the school after closing the classes, Tongibari Upazila Secondary Education Officer Golam Mortuza said that there is no rule to take students out of the school after closing the classes.
