Foundation stone laying of July Memorial Pillar , discussion on Mass Uprising at DU today

In order to preserve the memory of the July Uprising at Dhaka University, the foundation stone of the 'July Memorial Pillar' will be laid at the university's mall premises on Wednesday at 10:30 am.
Later, a discussion meeting will be held at TSC auditorium at 11 am. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam will be present as the chief guest at both the events.
On this occasion and to inform about the month-long programs implemented at Dhaka University in commemoration of the July Uprising, a press conference was organized on Tuesday at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom. At the press conference, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam delivered a speech highlighting the purpose, significance and various aspects of the programs undertaken.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Abdus Salam, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani, Treasurer Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, deans of various faculties, teachers and heads of various departments of the university were present at the press conference.
