Barguna Collegiate School publishes half-yearly exam results, holds parents' gathering, prize distribution

Barguna Collegiate Secondary School has published its half-yearly examination results for the 2026 academic year, alongside hosting a parents' gathering and prize distribution ceremony aimed at improving educational standards.
The event took place on Monday at the school auditorium. Additional District Magistrate (General), ADC (Education), and President of the school's managing committee Animesh Biswas attended as the chief guest, while parent member Advocate Abdur Rahman was present as the special guest. The program was presided over by the school's headmaster, Md. Shahjahan, and drew participation from teachers, parents, and students.
During the ceremony, crests were awarded to students who secured the first, second, and third positions in their respective classes. Educational materials were also distributed to students who maintained 100% attendance to encourage regular schooling.
Speakers emphasized the importance of consistent study habits, discipline, and moral education for students. Highlighting the collaborative role required of teachers, students, and parents, they noted that an institution's success relies on sincere mutual cooperation.
The festive and orderly gathering, marked by the recognition of high achievers and active parental involvement, generated renewed enthusiasm among the students.
