Monthly meeting held in Joypurhat on overall activities of Zilla Parishad

The monthly meeting regarding the overall management of the activities of Joypurhat District Council was held on Sunday (August 30) afternoon at the conference room of the Zila Parishad.
The meeting was chaired by District Council Administrator and District BNP Senior Joint Convener Masud Rana Pradhan, while the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council and Member-Secretary of the Committee for Managing the Overall Activities, Sarkar Mohammad Raihan, coordinated and conducted the meeting.
The meeting discussed in detail various developmental and administrative issues of the District Council, including the special allocation for the 2025-26 financial year, the general allocation of the ADP for the 2026-27 financial year, the renewal of the contractor license, the construction of a market at Panchur intersection, and the progress of the ongoing project implementation.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Nurul Islam, LGED Executive Engineer Abdur Rahim Akand, District Education Officer (Acting) Azizul Hakim, Deputy Director of District Social Services Office A. K. M. Moniruzzaman, Deputy Director of District Women's Affairs Department Laila Nasrin Jahan, Joypurhat Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Mahmudul Hasan, Panchbibi UNO Kashpia Tasrin, Kalai UNO Faisal Ahmed, Akkelpur Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Abida Khanam Baishakhi, District Council Assistant Engineer Mushfiqur Rahman and senior officials of various departments concerned.
