During the inspection, Divisional Commissioner inquired about the overall condition of Bill Kumari , its environment and the importance of the bill locally. Local administration officials informed him about the current situation of the bill and various related issues.
At this time, Divisional Commissioner highlighted the importance of the natural environment and reservoir of the bill and emphasized on the proper conservation and management of the bill. He also opined that a coordinated initiative by the administration is needed to protect the reservoir and natural resources, taking into account the local reality.
Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam also inquired about the overall situation of Beel Kumari. He learned various information related to Beel from the local administration officials and emphasized the responsible role of the administration in protecting the environment and reservoir in the area.
UNO Naima Khan said that Beel Kumari is an important wetland of Tanore. The upazila administration is interested in working in coordination with all the parties concerned to protect the environment and natural features of the Bill. He also mentioned that the higher administration's view on the Beel has deepened through the inspection of the Divisional Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner. During the inspection, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shiv Shankar Basak informed the Divisional Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner about various issues related to the land and local administration of Beel Kumari
. This Beel is an important wetland of Tanore Upazila. This Beel has a close relationship with agriculture, fisheries and the local environment. The preservation of the bill, protection of environmental balance and proper management are also important for the local people. The locals are viewing the inspection of the Divisional Commissioner's Beel Kumari Bill as positive. They hope that through the on-site inspection of senior administration officials, the importance of the bill will be considered more seriously and effective initiatives will be taken for its preservation and development in the future.
