Muhammad Talebur Rahman new SP in Pirojpur

Muhammad Talebur Rahman (PPM)-Seba has been transferred as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) in Pirojpur district.
The order was issued in a notification signed by Tausif Ahmed, Deputy Secretary of Police Section -1 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Sunday.
Muhammad Talebur Rahman previously served as Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) of Lalbagh Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and Deputy Police Commissioner of DMP's Media and Public Relations Division. He joined DMP as DC of DMP's Media and Public Relations Division in September 2024.
He was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Lalbagh Division, from the Media and Public Relations Department of DMP in March 2026. Before joining the Media and Public Relations Department of DMP, he was working as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) at the Police Headquarters.
This police officer joined Bangladesh Police as Assistant Superintendent of Police in the 25th BCS (Police) cadre in 2006. He was promoted to Additional Superintendent of Police in 2013 and Superintendent of Police in 2018.
Muhammad Talebur Rahman holds a BSS (Hons) and MSS degrees in Economics from Dhaka University.
Meanwhile, Pirojpur's current Superintendent of Police Mohammad Manzur Ahmed Siddiqui has been transferred as Special Superintendent of Police to the CID of the police.
