Coast Guard rescued two alive, provides medical support following boat capsize at Bhola's Ilisha Launch Ghat

The Bangladesh Coast Guard has rescued two individuals alive and provided necessary medical treatment and food following the sinking of a fishing boat near the Ilisha launch ghat in Bhola.
Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan, Coast Guard Media Officer, shared this information in a press release on Monday afternoon.
According to the Coast Guard, a small fishing boat was caught in strong waves and capsized in the Meghna River adjacent to the Ilisha launch ghat area under Bhola Sadar upazila at around 10:00 AM on Monday.
Acting on the information, Coast Guard Station Ilisha immediately launched a special rescue operation in the area and successfully rescued the two fishermen on board alive. The rescued fishermen were administered first aid and provided with necessary food.
Subsequently, the sunken boat was recovered and handed over to the fishermen's families along with the boat itself.
The Coast Guard reiterated that such emergency rescue operations will continue in the future.
