World Habitat Day celebrated with colourful events in Barishal

A rally and discussion meeting was held on Monday at 9:30 am with the slogan "Planned development trend, response to urban problems".
The events were organized by the District Administration, Public Works Department and Urban Development Department, Barisal to celebrate World Habitat Day.
Additional Divisional Commissioner (General) Barishal Md. Ahsan Habib was the chief guest at the event.
Deputy Commissioner Barishal Md. Delwar Hossain presided over the event.
DIG Barishal Range Md. Manjur Morshed Alam was the special guest,
Superintendent Engineer Public Works Circle Barisal Manik Lal Das, Superintendent Engineer Roads Barishal Md. Masud Khan, Superintendent of Police Barishal Md. Sharif Uddin and officials of government and private organizations were present.
At the beginning, a colourful rally started from the Circuit House premises, circled the important roads of the city and ended at the Circuit House premises.
Later, a discussion meeting was held there, where the guests discussed the significance of World Habitat Day.
