The International Teachers' Day was celebrated in Jhenaidah with the slogan 'Teaching Profession: The Light of Joint Effort'.
A rally was organized by the district administration and the district education office on Sunday morning from in front of the deputy commissioner's office.
The rally went through various streets of the city and ended at the same place. Later, a discussion meeting was organized in the DC's Conference Room.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Awal, district education officer Lutfar Rahman, Sadar UNO Hosne Ara and teachers spoke in it.
