 Land Minister Md. Mijanur Rahman Minu, MP, today urged students to prepare themselves to lead Bangladesh on the global stage, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and setting clear goals to reach the pinnacle of success.

 He was speaking as the chief guest at a discussion on education, cultural development, drug control, and social development, combined with a reception ceremony for students who achieved GPA-5 in their HSC examinations on Saturday noon at  Dr. Kaisar Rahman Auditorium of Rajshahi Medical College, organized by the publication 'Bishwobidyalay Porikroma' in cooperation with the Department of Narcotics Control.

Addressing the gathering, the Land Minister stated that a nation which does not know how to honor its meritorious individuals can never reach its desired goals.

Reflecting on his past experience in transforming Rajshahi into a 'green and clean city', the minister recalled that the London School of Economics had once recognized Rajshahi as one of the most livable cities in the world. 

Disaster Management and Relief Ministry Secretary Md. Saidur Rahman Khan attended the program as the keynote speaker. Presided over by Harun or Rashid, Chief Editor of Bishwobidyalay Porikroma, the function was also addressed by special guests including Rajshahi-3  lawmaker Adv. Mohammad Shafiqul Haque Milan, North Bengal International University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Saidur Rahman, and Rajshahi Development Authority Chairman Abul Kalam Azad Sweet.

Rajshahi DC Kazi Shahdul Islam, Zila Parishad Administrator Freedom Fighter Advocate Md. Ershad Ali Isha, Rajshahi Medical College Principal Dr. Khondokar Md. Foysal Alam, Rajshahi College Principal Dr. Md. Ibrahim Ali, New Govt. Degree College Principal Professor Dr. Shikha Sarkar, Department of Narcotics Control Deputy Director Md. Mehedi Hasan, and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice President Md. Ziauddin Ahmed were also present.
