The golden jubilee celebration of Mamarizpur High School, a traditional educational institution in Daganbhuiyan, Feni, turned into a gathering of young and old on Saturday with colourful arrangements.

 Feni Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam was the chief guest.

 Feni Police Superintendent Habibur Rahman, Local Government Department Deputy Director and Municipal Administrator Golam Md. Baten, Feni University Treasurer Prof Tayebul Haque, Feni University Board of Trustees Member Secretary Dr. Tabarak Ullah Chowdhury Bayezid were special guests. 

Presided over by Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, President of the school board and editor of the daily Feni, and moderated by Matiur Rahman Chowdhury Palash, member secretary of the celebration committee, and cultural activist Ashraful Haque Arman, district Jamaat Islam Ameer Mufti Abdul Hannan, district BNP joint convener Anwar Hossain Patwari, and Jamaat nominated candidate for Feni-3 constituency Dr.  Fakhruddin Manik,  NCP central member Jahidul Islam Saikat, Star Line Group Vice Chairman Zafar Uddin, Daganbhuiyan Upazila Executive Officer Shahidul Islam, Upazila BNP convener Akbar Hossain, Daganbhuiyan Thana OC  Wahid Parvez, Upazila Education Officer Ismail Hossain, Daganbhuiyan Upazila BNP member secretary Kamrul Uddin, Mamarizpur High School headmaster Abdur Rahim, celebration committee chief advisor Main Uddin Khaju and joint member secretary Abdul Qayyum Dulal were among others.

The golden jubilee celebration of the school. included a discussion meeting and cake cutting, honoring current and former teachers and donors, honoring former members and students, and a cultural program, as well as a raffle draw. In the afternoon, the country's prominent folk artist Sukumar Baul will perform a song at the cultural event. 

Earlier, on Friday, a Milad and Doa Mahfil were organized in memory of the late founder, donor, managing committee member, teachers, and students of the school.
