In the inter-departmental football match in Jagannath University (Jnu), the students of the Mathematics Department attacked the students of the English Department and vandalized the university bus due to the fight between the English department and the Mathematics department. In this incident, the social media is full of demands, condemnation and protest from the ordinary students of Jagannath University for appropriate punishment for those involved in the vandalism of the university bus.

According to eyewitnesses, on November 17 (Sunday), after the English department won the football match between the English department and the Mathematics department, the students of the two departments clashed over a trivial incident. Later, about 10 people were injured in the clash between the two sides. Although the matter was settled in the playground, some students of Mathematics Department attacked the students of English Department with sticks, rods, chains while coming to the bus. In this Ibrahim, Shipon, Kalim of the English department and 6 people were injured. Also, some miscreants vandalized the university bus.

Umme Habiba of the English Department said, "Saikat of Mathematics Department, Ehad, Faisal and Hridaya attacked the bus with sticks, after fighting and losing the game. Our department beat Kalim and Ibrahim Bhai a lot. Harassed girls. We are concerned about our safety. We demand exemplary punishment for destroying university resources and harassing teachers and other students including female students."

Enamul Haque Ihad, a student of the 14th batch of mathematics department, said, "At the end of the tiebreaker, the goalkeeper of the English department threw sand at our visitors. When we came to protest they attacked us like terrorists. They come to beat us with flag pipes. Our players were targeted by bamboo sticks on the windows of our bus while coming to the campus bus. Then our juniors get a little angry. We will submit the protest letter to the proctor's office tomorrow.

About the vandalism of the bus, Mathematics student Rubel Rana said, "Basically when the door was opening one wanted to get out. When he is chased, he closes the door. At this point the door is actually broken."

Meanwhile, students of different departments of the university are demanding exemplary punishment for those involved in bus vandalism on social media due to the attack and vandalism of the university bus due to the fight in the playground. In this regard, Ashraful Sayel, a student of the Department of Land Management and Law, said, "Vanishing the university bus, fighting with another department about who belongs to your department - are you trying to prove yourself as a big hooligan? They must be stopped now, otherwise the campus will become a hangout for gangsters."

Faisal Ahmed, a student of accounting department, said, "It is very normal that there is some trouble with the game, but where do they get the courage to break the university bus based on it? The university bus is not the property of the students, it is not the property of the father. Those who have shown such ferocity have seen the footage. I demand appropriate punishment for this, otherwise other departments will start vandalizing buses for petty problems."
