Nazmul Haque Rakel (23), the main accused in the sensational Khairul Islam Riyad murder case in Netrakona, has been arrested from Mymensingh by the Netrakona Model Police Station.

According to local residents and Police Station sources, there is a dispute with Md. Abdus Salam of Light village of Challisha Union of Netrakona Sadar Upazila regarding the land of his neighbor Abdus Sattar.

Meanwhile, Abdul Motaleb's son Khairul Islam Riyad of Bamanikona village went to visit his sister-in-law's house on the day before the incident. On May 19, at around 12 noon, Abdus Salam's son Nazmul Haque Rakel's men, armed with indigenous weapons, attacked Azharul Islam, son of Abdus Sattar. This time his cousin.

In this incident, the victim's father filed a murder case at Netrakona Model Police Station on May 20, accusing 5 people including Nazmul Haque Rakel as the plaintiff.

Later, a team led by SI Hafizur Rahman on the orders of Officer-in-Charge of Netrakona Model Police Station Kazi Shah Newaz conducted a raid in front of Charpara Medical College Hospital on Monday night on November 18 with the help of Mymensingh Katwali Police Station and arrested Nazmul Haque Rakel, the main accused in the Riyadh murder case.

In this regard, Netrakona Model Police Station When the officer-in-charge Kazi Shah Newaz was contacted, he admitted to the arrest of the main accused in the murder case and said that the arrested accused Rakel will be brought to the court and a 5-day remand will be requested to reveal the real mystery of the murder.
