No compromise with Awami League, Says CA Press Secretary

The Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser (CA), Shafiqul Alam, has stated that there is no understanding with the Awami League, emphasizing that those with blood on their hands must be brought to book first.
He made the remark during a forum discussion titled "What do we want in the new Bangladesh?" organized by Bannar News Bangla at the National Museum in the capital on Tuesday (November 19).
"We will not make any agreements with those who have blood on their hands. They must be held accountable," he said.
The forum was attended by prominent personalities, including writer-intellectual Professor Dr. Salimulllah Khan, Dr. Mahadi Amin, member of the BNP Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee, one of the coordinators of ‘Maayer Daak’ (Mother's Call) Sanjida Islam Tuli, Dr. Mobashar Hasan, a teacher who was a victim of enforced disappearance during the autocratic regime, Hasnat Abdullah, the convener of the Anti-Discrimination Students Movement, and actress Nowsaba Ahmed, who was a victim of torture during the autocratic era.
