Former textile and jute minister Golam Dastgir Gazi Vir Prateek's PS Feroz Bhuiyan has been arrested by the police.
He was arrested from room 517 of Cox's Bazar Hotel Cox Today at 10:30 am on Tuesday. According to the police, the police arrested Feroz Bhuiyan on the basis of secret information. At that time, a woman named Morsheda Akhter of Jatrabari area of the capital who was with him was also arrested.

Rupganj police station OC Liakat Ali said that there are several cases against the arrested Feroz Bhuiya in Rupganj and Siddhirganj police stations, including the murder of Roman Mia (17), a class 10 student of Nav Kisholai High School of Rupganj's Chanpara Rehabilitation Center and the attack, vandalism and looting of Tarabo Municipal Youth Party President Afzal Kabir's house. Feroze Bhuiyan is the son of Mohammad Ali of Rupsi village in Tarabo municipality of Rupganj.
Earlier, on August 5, Roman Mia was shot dead in Chanpara Rehabilitation Center area. Former textile and jute minister Golam Dastgir Gazi and former chairman of Kayetpara union Alhaj Zayed Ali were arrested in this case.
