Special cultural programme on birth anniv of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at DU Rokeya Hall

On the occasion of the 127th birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and Nazrul Barsho 2026-2027, a special cultural program titled “Chir-Unnat Mom Shir” was organized at Dhaka University Rokeya Hall on Thursday evening.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the program. Rokeya Hall Central Cultural Institution Rosni organized this program with the aim of creatively presenting Nazrul's creativity, philosophy of equality, rebellious spirit and humanistic thoughts to the new generation. The National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam Institute and Mission Green Bangladesh collaborated in organizing this program.
The event was presided over by Prof Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, Provost of Dhaka University Rokeya Hall, and was inaugurated by Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Kaniz Mawla, and Executive Director of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam Institute, Md. Latiful Islam Shibli, as special guests, and renowned Nazrul Sangeet artiste, Ekushey Padak recipient Fatima Tuz Zohra, as the main discussant. Rosni President Rifti Al Jabed and General Secretary Jinnatul Islam Pratyasha were present at the event.
