Joint Secretary Fatema Jahan Mumu, an accomplished daughter of Matlab Dakshin upazila in Chandpur district, is currently serving with distinction as the Joint Secretary (Planning and Development Wing-2) of the Technical and Madrasah Education Division under the Ministry of Education.
A proud member of the 21st batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre, she has successfully and efficiently discharged her duties across various vital administrative positions, including UNO, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Executive Magistrate, Senior Assistant Secretary, and Deputy Secretary.
It is mentioned that from 2019 to 2023, she served as the Consul (Labor) at the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in ensuring the welfare of expatriate Bangladeshis, providing legal assistance, and creating new employment opportunities.
