The ceremony of paying retirement and welfare benefits to private teachers and employees has been completed in Satkhira simultaneously with the entire country.

This money distribution ceremony was organized in a very festive atmosphere in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner this Saturday morning. After a long wait, a flood of joy swept through the retired teachers and employees after receiving this one-time financial benefit.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman officially inaugurated this program across the country by joining centrally through video conference. At that time, the Prime Minister highlighted the various steps of the current government for the development of educational institutions and the improvement of the quality of life of teachers. He said that teachers are the masters of nation building. It is the responsibility of the government to pay their last-year state dues on time.

Chaired by Satkhira Deputy Commissioner Ms. Kausar Aziz, it was attended by Satkhira District Police Superintendent Abu Saleh Md. Ashraful Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Ripon Biswas, Sadar UNO Arnab Dutta and District Education Officer Md. Alamgir Kabir as special guests.

Also present among the social and political leaders were District BNP Senior Joint Convener Abul Hasan Hadi, Joint Convener Taskin Ahmed Chishti and Satkhira Press Club President Monirul Islam Mini. Beneficiary retired private teachers and employees from different upazilas of the district were present on the stage and in the audience. In the president's speech, Deputy Commissioner Ms. Kausar Aziz remembered the merit and hard work of the retired teachers during their long careers with great respect.

This money will help them improve their quality of life, including medical treatment, at the end of their lives." He wished everyone present a beautiful, healthy and dignified future. According to the District Education Office, hundreds of retired teachers and employees of Satkhira district have received their outstanding retirement and welfare benefits through cheques and digital transfers worth crores of taka under this program.
