CI sheet,  cheques  distributed to 96  affected families in Kulaura

Free corrugated tin and cash assistance cheques were distributed among helpless and distressed families affected by various natural disasters in Kulaura, Moulvibazar, under a humanitarian program in the 2026-2027 fiscal year.

Alhaj Shawkatul Islam Shaku MP spoke as the chief guest at the distribution ceremony organized in collaboration with the Upazila Administration and the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief at the Upazila Parishad Hallroom on Monday (September 14) afternoon. Speaking as the chief guest, MP Shawkatul Islam said, the current BNP government under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is working relentlessly to improve the living standards of the common people of the country. 

Criticizing the various activities of the previous government, MP Shawkatul Islam further said, "Currently, our needs are much greater, but our resources are limited in comparison. Because during the previous dictatorial government, Sheikh Hasina and her associates looted billions of dollars and crores of taka from the country and smuggled them abroad. They destroyed the country's economy. We need to give our government some time to overcome this huge loss. I want to assure you that despite hundreds of adversities, under the leadership of our leader, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, we will work transparently to bring smiles to the faces of every person in the country and build a self-reliant Bangladesh."

The program, chaired by UNO  Sanjida Akhter and moderated by Upazila Project Implementation Officer Raju Chandra Pal, was attended by Upazila BNP General Secretary Badruzzaman Sajal, former convener Redwan Khan, Senior Vice President Abdul Jalil Jamal, Organizing Secretary Abdul Muktadir Monu, Upazila Press Club President and MP Representative Md. Moshabbir Ali, Upazila Volunteer Party Member Secretary Gias Uddin Mollah, Municipal Chhatra Dal Convener Atiqul Islam Atiq, among others.

Upazila PIO  Raju Chandra Pal said that a total of 96 affected families affected by various natural disasters in various unions and municipalities of Kulaura were given a bundle of corrugated iron sheets and a cash check of Tk 3,000 for house reKulaura
