The prize distribution ceremony of the annual sports competition for the students of Sultana Kamal Hall, Dhaka University, was held on Tuesday in the hall auditorium in the evening. Professor Dr. Sayma Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin ) of Dhaka University, was present as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.

The event was presided over by Dr. Fatema-tuz-Zohra, Warden of Sultana Kamal Hall. Special guests who spoke on the occasion included Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Director of the Institute of Leather Engineering and Technology, and Mohammad Ali Bappi, President of the Bangladesh Leather Engineering and Technology Society. At the event, the new committee of the hall's Environment Club was welcomed, and the outgoing committee was given a farewell reception.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr. Sayma Haque Bidisha said that sports and co-curricular activities play an important role in increasing students’ concentration and self-confidence in studies and in developing them as skilled human resources. She urged students to participate regularly in sports and co-curricular activities.

The prize recipients in various competitions were: Sadika Sanjida Azad Chhoa, Mosammat Tasnim Akter Rumpa, Deepa Rani Kor, Maria Jahan, Umme Habiba Oishi, Aishwarya Nizam, Bilkis Banu Swarna, Mehjabin Islam, Khadijatul Kobra Promi, Tamim Jahan Porshi, Kaniz Fatema Glory, Aparna Bhowmik, Mosammat Nishat Akter, Afsana Sultana, Nasrin Sumaiya, Sumi Kaiser, Rifaa Tasmia, Tanzila Sultana, Syeda Nigar Sultana, Suravi Akter, Anika Sadia Udla, Tasnim Ahmed Rimjhim, Tasfia Tasnim, Rashna Sharmin, Mrinmoyee Roy, Tania Khatun, Nazia Akter, Maria Jahan, Mosammat Sathi Khatun, Mosammat Tania Khatun, Sanjihabin Sammi, Moumita Rani Chanda Puja, Aina Begum, Maliha Samiha Rahman, Mubasshira Tasnim Akand, Maksura Ahmed Esha, Hanifa Begum Fariha, Tahsina Tabassum Sabha, and Mumtahina Sarmin Shela.

It is mentioned  that for the next one year, Parijat Chandranona Archi of the Leather Products Engineering Department has been elected as the President of the Environment Club, and Khadijatul Kobra Promi of the Footwear Engineering Department as the General Secretary.
