Porsha Upazila Children and Mass Education Ofice locked, none to see it

There have been allegations of widespread irregularities and neglect of duty at the Porsha Upazila Children and Mass Education Office in Naogaon.
Although the office has been locked day after day, it seems that no one has been looking after it. This is disrupting the normal activities and government services of the office.
It is learnt that Jahangir Alam, Office Assistant of the UNO office, went to deliver official letters to the office at around 11 am on Tuesday but he found the office locked. Jahangir Alam said that he often comes to deliver official letters and finds the office locked like this.
When contacted on mobile phone to inquire about the office being locked, Mohsen Ali, the caretaker of the office, did not give any proper answer and refused to talk to this reporter.
On the other hand, when contacted, the office supervisor, Zafar Ali, admitted to being absent from work. He said, "I am a little busy with work at the Naogaon district office. I will try to be present in the next few days."
Even though an important government office is locked day after day, the erratic behavior of the officials concerned has created anger in the public. Conscious circles have raised questions about how an important program like children and mass education is going on like this for months after months. Those concerned have sought the immediate intervention of higher authorities in this regard.
