Community Sports Team training 2nd phase held in Gopalganj

The second phase of the Community Sports Team (CST) Level-1 training was successfully conducted on August 1, 2026, in Gopalganj, Bangladesh.
The training was led by Mr. Grant Sheppard, Director of World Sport Ministries (WSM), in association with Messianic Family Center International Bangladesh (MFCI BD). A total of 30 participants took part in the training.
The program focused on using sports as a practical tool for community development, relationship building, teamwork, leadership, and social harmony. Participants were introduced to the principles and practical approaches of Community Sports Teams and how sports can create opportunities to bring people from diverse backgrounds together.
During the training, Mr. Grant Sheppard shared his experience and practical knowledge of developing community-based sports initiatives. The participants also took part in interactive activities designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, leadership, and community engagement.
The organizers expressed their hope that the CST initiative will contribute to building stronger relationships and promoting unity and positive engagement among people and communities in Bangladesh.
The successful completion of the second phase marks another important step in developing Community Sports Teams and equipping local participants with practical skills to use sports as a means of creating positive social impact.
