A farewell reception was organized by the Kushtia District Police to honor two Probationary Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), Md. Pavel Hossain and S.M. Sabbir Hasan Galib, upon the successful completion of their six-month field training in the district.

The reception was held at 7:00 PM on Monday in the conference room of the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Kushtia. The event was attended by the Superintendent of Police, Mohammad Jasim Uddin, PPM (Bar), as the chief guest. Sadia Afrin, President of PUNAK Kushtia, attended as the special guest.

During the ceremony, it was announced that following the successful completion of their probationary training, ASP Md. Pavel Hossain has been transferred to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), while ASP S.M. Sabbir Hasan Galib has been posted to the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). On behalf of the Kushtia District Police, both officers were presented with commemorative crests in recognition of their service.

Speaking at the event, the Superintendent of Police highly praised the dedication, professionalism, and sincerity demonstrated by the two officers during their tenure in Kushtia.

Among others present at the ceremony were Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin & Finance) Shikdar Md. Hasan Imam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Operations) Faisal Mahmud, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Pranab Kumar Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Bheramara Circle) Md. Delowar Hossain, PUNAK Treasurer Shamita Bala, Organizing Secretary Susmita Biswas, spouses of the two departing officers, Officers-in-Charge of all police stations in Kushtia District, DIO-1, Officer-in-Charge of the DSB., OC of the DB , the In-Charge of the Cyber Crime Unit, TI (Admin), Court In-Charge, and other senior police officials.
