MQA CEO pays courtesy call on DU VC

Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Professor Dr. Mohammad Shatar bin Sabran paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam at his office on Tuesday. MQA Training Center Director Abdul Saman bin Taip accompanied him during the meeting.
Bangladesh Accreditation Council Chairman Professor Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain Khan was present during the meeting.
During the meeting, they emphasized on strengthening cooperation in education and research between Dhaka University and various universities in Malaysia. They also discussed the possibility of undertaking joint cooperation programs between Bangladesh and Malaysia in the field of higher education and research. The CEO of MQA expressed his interest in working with Dhaka University and Bangladesh Accreditation Council to improve the quality of higher education and research in Bangladesh.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam thanked the guests for coming to Dhaka University and expressing deep interest in its education and research activities.
