Three separate committees have been formed to investigate and make recommendations on three recent incidents on the Dhaka University campus on Monday.
Three separate committees have been formed to investigate and make recommendations on three recent incidents on the Dhaka University campus on Monday.
The launch of a website named '' DU Evaluation '' by DUCSU, the installation of a memorial named ''Nirbik July'' on the west side of DUCSU Bhavan adjacent to Kala Bhavan and in front of the Central Library, and the controversial photo of Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah and student union leader Abdul Malek being taken down in DUCSU's archive, and these three committees have been formed to investigate and make recommendations on these issues.
These committees were formed in accordance with Section 12 (3) of the Dhaka University Order, 1973, in the interest of maintaining overall order on the university campus. The university authorities will take further action on these issues based on the reports of the committees. The committees have been asked to submit their reports with recommendations within the next 7 working days.

A 6-member committee was formed with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University as the convener to investigate the issue of launching a website called ''DU Evaluation'' by DUCSU. The members of the committee are: Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education), Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies and Director of IQAC . The Registrar of the University will serve as the member-secretary of this committee.

Despite the specific law of the university, a 5-member committee was formed with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University as the convener to investigate the issue of installing a monument named "Fearless July" on the west side of the DUCSU building adjacent to the Arts Building and in front of the Central Library by DUCSU without the permission of the university authorities. The members of the committee are: Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Proctor. The Estate Manager of the university will serve as the member-secretary of the committee.
