Fascist forces must never return to Bangladesh: Law Minister

Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md. Asaduzzaman on Tuesday stressed that fascist political forces must never be allowed to return to power in Bangladesh, ensuring that no family ever has to endure the trauma of waiting for their missing loved ones.
"Let no mother or relative ever have to sit in a funeral prayer and cry, waiting for the return of their loved ones," the minister said this while addressing a meeting at the Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner's office conference room this afternoon.
The meeting, organized by the district administration, focused on the overall law and order situation, ongoing development activities, and citizen services in Bagerhat district.
Emphasizing public safety, Minister Asaduzzaman highlighted the necessity of unified action, stating that collective effort from all stakeholders is essential to protect the lives and property of citizens. Discussions also centered on accelerating regional infrastructure projects, bringing government services directly to people's doorsteps, and maintaining strict control over public security.
Chaired by Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Golam Md. Baten, the meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabder, Bagerhat-1 MP Principal Mashiur Rahman Khan, Bagerhat-4 MP Principal Abdul Alim, and District Council Administrator Barrister Zakir Hossain.
