CCC Mayor announces affordable dengue test, treatment at Memon Hospital

Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain has announced the establishment of a Dengue Management Cell at Memon Maternity Hospital, aimed at providing affordable blood tests and treatment for dengue patients with a team of experts.
Following his visit to the hospital on Wednesday , the mayor said , "We will set up a special cell to offer low-cost medical services for dengue patients. We will also monitor mosquito control efforts in every ward and take disciplinary action for any negligence in cleanliness."
He assured that the effectiveness of current mosquito control medications would be reviewed and, if necessary, new treatments and technologies would be adopted. Additionally, Dr. Hossain emphasized the need to address equipment shortages at the hospital and to enhance the overall health service by refurbishing other facilities.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve healthcare services for the people of Chattogram.
