Three students of the Law Department of Barisal University (BBU) have been recommended as civil judges in the 18th Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) examination. This information was revealed after the results of the examination were published on Wednesday (September 23).

They were recommended for the post of civil judge after completing various stages of examinations including preliminary, written and oral examinations held under the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC).

The three recommended students are Jannatul Ayesha from the 2017-18 academic year of the Law Department, Jayanta Halder from the 2016-17 academic year, and Md. Naeem Hossain from the 2014-15 academic year.

In the published results, Jannatul Ayesha secured 15th and Jayanta Halder secured 67th place. On the other hand, Md. Naeem Hossain was also recommended as a civil judge in the same examination. The success of the three students has created joy in the Law Department of Barisal University.

Expressing his feelings, Jayanta Halder said, "First of all, I would like to express my immense gratitude to the Almighty. My feelings are truly beyond words to be able to achieve this success today after a long period of hard work, patience and concentration. This is not just a job or an achievement; rather, it is a great trust and responsibility to serve people and establish justice in society. The contribution of my family, teachers and well-wishers in this long and difficult journey is immense. Without their prayers, love and support, it would not have been possible to cross this path."

In this regard, the Chairman of the Law Department, Dr. Kaiser Ahmed said, "On behalf of the Law Department, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to our three meritorious students, Jannatul Ayesha, Naeem Hossain and Jayanta Halder, who have been recommended for the post of Civil Judge in the 18th BJS examination. I hope that they will play an important role in serving the country, nation and judiciary through their talent, skills and honesty in the workplace and will keep the reputation of Barisal University and the Law Department intact. Their success will serve as a source of inspiration for the current and future students of the Law Department. I hope that our students will continue this success in the future as well."

This achievement by three students of the Law Department of Barisal University has caused joy and enthusiasm among the university's teachers, students, and concerned parties.
