Lightnings kills 3 in Kishoreganj haor

Three people were killed in separate lightning strikes in the haor upazilas of Austagram and Mithamain in Kishoreganj. The deceased include two farmers—Indrajit Das (35) and Swadhin Mia (14)—and a female farmer named Fulesha Begum (65).
The tragic incidents occurred on the morning of Monday while Indrajit Das and Swadhin Mia were harvesting paddy in the haor of Austagram, and Fulesha Begum was covering harvested paddy at her own threshing yard in Mithamain.
Indrajit Das was a resident of Halalpur village in Kolma Union under Austagram upazila and the son of the late Jatindra Das. Swadhin Mia was from Khayerpur village in Khayerpur-Abdullahpur Union and the son of Idris Mia. Fulesha Begum, a resident of Raniganj village in Keowarjor Union of Mithamain upazila, was the wife of the late Ashrab Ali.
The incidents have been confirmed by OC Ruhul Amin of Austagram Police Station.
