Drug sale near Sirajdikhan Police Station

Locals have alleged that various types of drugs, including marijuana, yaba tablets, heroin, and others, are being sold day and night at the fish market in Ekalai, Sirajdikhan Bazar, Munshiganj, as well as at the Santoshpara sand field located adjacent to the police station for a long time.
They claim a syndicate of 10 to 15 individuals is involved, including:Mizan (25) – Santoshpara Balu FieldAynal (50) – Fish market area,Farhad (36), Rashel (25), Ali (30), Habu (35) – Others named by residentsAccording to locals, these syndicates have long been active in drug distribution in the area. A key figure is reportedly now an influential leader of a political party. "We cannot imagine how they openly sell drugs in front of the police station," said one resident.
A fish trader from Sirajdikhan Market, who wished to remain anonymous, stated:
"I see the police coming all the time, but I don't see them arresting anyone."
When contacted, OC of Sirajdikhan Police Station, Shahed Al Mamun, said, to my knowledge, there is no drug spot here. I will act on any such information."
