Various programs held in Satkhira on National Legal Aid Day

A colourful rally, legal aid fair, health checkup and discussion meeting were held in Satkhira on the occasion of National Legal Aid Day on Monday.
For this purpose, a colourful rally started from the Satkhira Judge Court premises at 8 am and circled the important roads of the city.
Earlier, the guests inaugurated the program by releasing balloons and festoons. In order to make the general public aware about government legal aid, the discussion meeting was presided over by District Legal Aid Chairman, Senior District and Sessions Judge Md. Nazrul Islam.
Satkhira Deputy Commissioner Mostaq Ahmed was the chief guest.
Satkhira Civil Surgeon Dr. Abdus Salam, Satkhira Judge Court PP Adv. Abdus Sattar, District Bar Association President Adv. Shah Alam and others were present at the time.
The speakers said, Legal aid provides legal assistance to the poor and helpless people. The rule of law cannot be ensured by leaving the marginalized population outside the protection of the law. We will work with everyone to establish the rule of law in Satkhira.
