Youth dies after hitting electric pole guy wire in Shibganj

A young man, Fahim (22), who was seriously injured after hitting an electric pole guy wire in Shibganj, Bogura, has died.
He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka around 3 am on Friday. He is the son of Azizar Rahman of Dhawagir Paglapar village in Shibganj Sadar Union. It is learned that Fahim was seriously injured after hitting an electric pole guy wire while going to join a motorcycle on Thursday night.
Locals saw him lying on the road and rescued him and sent him to the hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment. Acting Chairman of Shibganj Sadar Union Parishad, Abdul Hakim, confirmed the death due to injuries sustained in the accident. The incident has cast a shadow of mourning over the area.
