We don't want safe exit, we will stay in country with normal exit: Religious Adviser

 Religious Adviser  Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said, 'We don't want a safe exit. We will stay in this country after the elections with a normal exit.' I am a citizen of this country. This country is mine, I will stay here.'
 
He said these in response to questions from journalists after the 'Sampriti Sambhal' organized by the Hill Tracts Ulama Parishad at the Rangamati District Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Saturday  morning.
 
In response to questions from journalists, he also said that the national elections will be held on time and in a fair manner in February. Our preparations for the next elections are 100 percent. We will hand over responsibility to the elected government after the elections in February, thereby preserving constitutional continuity.
 
Rangamati Police Superintendent Dr. SM Farhad Hossain Chowdhury Ulama society will be able to play the biggest role in communal harmony. He expressed hope that Rangamati Ulama society will move forward with unity efforts by setting the best example in their behavior, generosity and greatness.
 
The program was presided over by Maulana Haji Md. Shariat Ullah, President of the Central Committee of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Ulama Parishad. Also present were Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Sadeq Hossain, Rangamati Deputy Commissioner Md. Habib Ullah Maruf, District Superintendent of Police Dr. SM Farhad Hossain, leaders of various mosques, temples, monasteries and religious institutions of the district and upazila, and prominent figures.
