Workshop of Climate Clean City Project held in Khulna

A workshop was held on Tuesday morning in the Khulna District Shilpakala Academy with the Swiss Red Cross in collaboration with the Climate Clean City Project.
Khulna City Corporation Secretary Sharif Asif Rahman was the chief guest at the workshop. The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Khulna City Unit organized the workshop.
At the workshop, the negotiators said that there is no alternative to proper waste management in order to live healthy and beautifully in the city life. Khulna City Corporation will be easier if different organizations come forward in this regard. The best of themselves is enough to keep the environment beautiful.
Khulna Regional Information Office Deputy Information Officer Md. Javed Iqbal, KCC Chief Waste Management Officer Md. Anisur Rahman, Assistant Manager of the Project Md. Abdul Majid, Level Officer of the City Unit of the Red Crescent Society Md. Mainul Islam Palash spoke on the occasion.
Md. Moslem Uddin, Urban Manager of the Project presented the keynote paper.
It is to be noted that the approval will be implemented in the elected lower income settlements of ward 25 and 22 of Khulna City Corporation. The project started on July 7, and ended on June 7, 2021.
Ward secretaries , community leader and NGO representatives attended the workshop.
