UP chairman arrested in Nazirpur

Former Awami League President and Union Parishad Chairman of Malikhali Union in Nazirpur Upazila of Pirojpur Md. Ruhul Amin Bablu Daria (58) was arrested on n Tuesday.
Coordinators of the Student Movement Against Discrimination arrested him from Sonadanga, Khulna. He is the son of Mannan Daria of Jhanjhania village in Malikhali Union.
At that time, Ruhul Amin Daria Bablu was handed over to Khulna Sonadanga Police by the students and the public. When the matter was informed to the Nazirpur Police, SI Md. Mosharraf Hossain, the investigating officer of the two cases filed against him, brought him from Sonadanga Police Station to Pirojpur.
Nazirpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mahmud Al Farid Bhuiyan confirmed the matter and said that two cases are pending against the current chairman of Malikhali Union, Ruhul Amin Bablu Daria, at Nazirpur Police Station on charges of attacking BNP leaders and workers and attacking a Jubo Dal procession.
On Thursday (December 19), when Chairman Ruhul Amin Babul Daria was sent to court, the Pirojpur Senior Judicial Court sent him to jail.
