The Bagerhat Television Journalists Association Annual General Meeting 2024 and the biennial Executive Committee Introduction Meeting were held on Monday at the Bagerhat Press Club Auditorium, under the chairmanship of Association President Bishnu Prasad Chakraborty.

General Secretary Md. Yamin Ali presented the minutes of the meeting. Earlier, in the 2025-2026 executive committee election, Asian Television's Bagerhat district representative Md. Kamruzzaman was elected as the president. Somoy TV's staff reporter Ali Akbar Tutul was elected as the vice-president. Bangla Vision's Bagerhat district representative Molla Masudul Haque was elected as the general secretary. AT N Bangla and AT N News' Bagerhat district representative SM Amirul Haque Babu was elected as the deputy general secretary. Channel 24's Bagerhat district representative Md. Ariful Islam was elected as the treasurer. R TV's district representative SM Shamsur Rahman was elected as the office and sports secretary. Independent TV's district representative Olip Ghatak was elected as the I-City and Publicity Secretary. News 24's district representative Ahsanul Karim, Jamuna Television's district representative Md. Yamin Ali, Ekushey Television's district representative HM Mainul Islam, Machhranga Television's Shawkat Ashrafi Babu, and N TV's district representative Tarafdar were elected as the executive members. Sohel Rana Babu was elected as the Bagerhat District Representative of Rabiul Islam Global Television.

At the end of the meeting, the members of the association congratulated the new executive committee with flowers.
