N'ganj City Corporation organises Youth Festival

With the slogan “Let’s Change the Nation, Let’s Change the World”, the Narayanganj City Corporation organized a vibrant rally on January 1 at 10:30 AM to celebrate the Festival of Youth 2025. The rally commenced from the city corporation building, traversed the main streets, and concluded at Nagar Park in the Gymkhana area.
Subsequently, a mosquito eradication and cleanliness drive was inaugurated at Nagar Park by Narayanganj City Corporation Secretary, Mr. Noor Qutubul Alam. The event was graced by the presence of City Planner Mr. Moinul Islam, Chief Social Welfare and Slum Development Officer Mr. KM Faridul Miraz, Assistant Secretary Ms. Ishrat Zakia, Medical Officer Dr. Nafiah Islam, PS to Administrator (Property Officer) Mr. Atiqur Rahman, and Cleanliness Officer Mr. Alamgir Hiron.
The rally and cleanliness activities saw the participation of the City Youth Council, city volunteers, BD Clean, representatives of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, and CDC representatives, alongside nearly a hundred citizens from various sectors of the city.
As part of the Festival of Youth, workshops, assemblies, debate competitions, art contests, sports events, and cultural programs will be held. These activities are scheduled to continue until February 19, 2025.
This festival aims to inspire the youth of the nation to actively engage in social development, culture, and sports, playing a vital role in building a new and progressive Bangladesh.
