Mofiz Imam Milon wins Nayanjuli Izzat Ali Khan–Sufia Begum Literary Award

Renowned writer and researcher Mofiz Imam Milon from Faridpur has been selected for the "Nayanjuli Izzat Ali Khan – Sufia Begum Literary Award 2026" for his contributions to literature and research.
The award will be officially conferred at a ceremony scheduled for October 3 (Tuesday) at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in the capital.
Eminent educationist Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed will attend the function as the chief guest, while prominent fiction writer and translator Andalib Rashdi will preside over the event.
Introduced in memory of the parents of former secretary and researcher Dr Mohammad Ali Khan, the award is being presented to two recipients jointly for the first time.
Alongside Mofiz Imam Milon, Ali Ahammad Khan Aiyob from Mymensingh has also been selected for the prestigious recognition this year.
