Mobile court fined Tk 7000 to control commodity price in Hathazari

The mobile court fined 7 thousand taka to various shopkeepers during the campaign to control the price of goods in Hathazari town market. The operation was conducted under the leadership of Mehraj Sharbeen, Executive Magistrate and Hathazari Municipal Administrator on Tuesday.
At that time, 5 traders were fined a total of Rs. 7000/- under various sections of the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 by conducting the mobile court for the crime of not storing and displaying the price list, selling products without expiry date etc. and were advised to save the purchase receipt. Illegal pavement occupiers on Kachari Road are warned.
