Madrasa student killed in road accident in Hathazari

Mohammad Azwad (13), a madrasa student named Prakash Mahin was killed in a road accident in Hathazari on Tuesday in front of Charia Madrasa in Mirzapur Union on the Hathazari-Nazirhat highway.
The deceased is the son of carpenter Alamgir, a resident of Madhu Mahbub's house in Ward No. 4 of Ajwad Hathajari Municipality. However, they were living in the rented house of Alhaj Abu Syed Manson in that area.
According to local and police sources, Ajwad, a student of the 2nd Jamaat of Charia Madrasa, was waiting to enter the madrasa by crossing the road at the mentioned place on Tuesday morning. He was seriously injured when a city-bound bus (Dhaka Metro B 15 7626) hit him.
Later, the locals rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor in charge declared him dead. Meanwhile, after the incident, Chariya Madrasa and local residents blocked the road in protest. On receiving the information, the police went to the spot and normalized the traffic.
Nazirhat Highway Police OC Mofiz Uddin Bhuiyan admitted the incident.
