Madrasa student Abid rescued from Sylhet 3 kidnappers arrested

The police have arrested three kidnappers who abducted a madrasa student named Md Abid (10) from Baneshwardi Arafat Nagar Abujar Giffari (R) Madrasa in Noagaon Union of Sonargaon Upazila of Narayanganj and demanded a ransom of TK 10 lakhs. At the same time, the victim Abid was rescued from a hotel in Sylhet Mazar area.
Arrested kidnappers Mahfuz alias Farhad Master (31) son of Abdur Rashid of Parameshwardi area and Md Shahed (19) son of Babul Mia of Mattal area and Raihan (18) son of Shahidullah of Daulardi area.
The kidnapper Shahed (18) was arrested from Bastal area last Thursday through information technology and manual. Later, with the help of Sylhet Kotyali Thana Police and the information given by him, the kidnappers Mahfuz and Raihan were arrested from Great Osman Hotel in Sylhet Shahjalal (RA) Shrine area. Earlier on Tuesday.
Sonargaon Police Station OC Mohammad Abdul Bari confirmed the matter through a press release on Friday morning and said that the three kidnappers who abducted madrasa student Abid and demanded a ransom of Tk 10 lakh have been arrested and sent to court under the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act.
