Jamaat workers' rally held in Mirsarai

A Jamaat-e-Islami workers' rally and introduction meeting was held in Mirsarai, Chittagong, at the initiative of Jamaat-e-Islami's Durgapur Union.
On Sunday afternoon, the workers' rally and introduction meeting of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami No. 8 Durgapur Union was held at the Mithachara High School Auditorium under the chairmanship of Union Ameer Mao: Abdul Mannan and the conduct of Union Secretary Mao: Abdul Alim.
Professor Fazlul Karim, Assistant Secretary of Chittagong North District Jamaat-e-Islami, was present as the chief guest at the workers' rally.
Special guests were present as Dr. Abdul Gafur, Baitul Maal Secretary of Jorarganj Thana Jamaat, Md. Arifur Rahman, Shura and Working Committee Member of Jorarganj Thana Jamaat, Redwanul Haque, Secretary of the Workers Welfare Federation Jorarganj Thana. Union Jamaat leaders Imam Uddin, Hanif Nizami, Saifuddin and others.
The chief guest at the rally said that he announced the names of the candidates for the chairman and union ameer member of Durgapur Union No. 8 in the upcoming local government elections. The chairman candidate is Harish Mia Mumin, secretary of the union's professional department.
