NCP observes 2nd anniv of July Mass Uprising in Toronto

The 2nd anniversary of the July Mass Uprising was observed on Sunday at Danforth Shaheed Minar in Toronto, featuring a special commemorative meeting dedicated to the martyrs and injured of the July movement.
The gathering paid deep tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during the July mass uprising while honoring the brave individuals who displayed remarkable courage in the struggle to establish democracy, justice, and human rights in the country.
Speakers remarked that the July uprising represents a historic chapter of unity, courage, and determination against injustice and discrimination, noting that the sacrifices of the martyrs and injured have intensified collective responsibilities. Expatriate Bangladeshis in Toronto affirmed their steadfast commitment to the ideals of the movement, emphasizing the collective resolve to build a democratic, equitable, anti-discriminatory, and humane Bangladesh.
The commemorative meeting featured speeches by NCP Canada Convenor Rokeya Parveen, Chief Organizer Syed Milton Reza, Reza Sawar, writer Moinuddin Ahmed, Selim Abu, Hanif Ahmed, Abrar Ibn Mizan, and Sharif Babu, among others.
