Current govt committed to doing pro-people work: Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat, MP, has stated that the current government is firmly committed to ensuring public development and performing pro-people work. To achieve this, public representatives and government officials alike must be ready to make sacrifices and work for public welfare from their respective positions.
The minister made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at a coordination meeting held on Monday at the conference room of the Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner's office.
Organized by the Mymensingh district administration, the meeting focused on law and order, drug control, good governance, ensuring transparency and accountability, implementing election manifestos, and monitoring public welfare and development activities. The meeting was presided over by Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner Md. Saifur Rahman.
Addressing department heads and public representatives, the minister said that the primary objectives of the coordination meeting are to maintain law and order, control drugs, ensure good governance, transparency, and accountability, and successfully implement election manifestos and public welfare initiatives in Mymensingh district. Achieving this requires a joint effort between the administration and public representatives
The Deputy Commissioner said, all district departments and law enforcement agencies are working collectively to improve law and order and ensure transparency and implementation of various projects in the district.
