State Minister for Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, MP, warned that political pipe dreams of toppling the elected Bangladeshi government using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and fabricated videos from abroad will never be realized.

The State Minister delivered his speech as Chief Guest during a protest rally and mass procession at Katirhat Bazar in Dhalai under Hathazari upazila, Chittagong, on Tuesday afternoon. The program was organized to protest anarchy linked to banned political groups and former regime associates.

Addressing the assembly, Barrister Mir Helal urged misled youths to refrain from participating in subversive activities orchestrated by fugitives residing overseas. He challenged exiled leaders to return to the country and face the judicial system if they maintain their innocence.

He called upon local party members to maintain vigilance against clandestine provocations while reassuring that the administration would support the rehabilitation of individuals who sever ties with criminal elements. 

Presided over by Dhalai Union BNP Convener Azam Master, the meeting was co-conducted by JASAS Chittagong North District President Kazi Saiful Islam Tutul and Dhalai Union BNP Member Secretary Nasim Member, with speeches delivered by Hathazari Upazila BNP Member Secretary Gias Uddin Chairman, North District Volunteer Dal Member Secretary Akbar Ali, North District Youth Dal Joint Secretary Sakhawat Hossain Shimul, and North District Chhatra Dal President Takibul Islam Taki, among other regional leaders.
