Faridpur Govt Rajendra College observes July Mass Uprising Day

Faridpur Government Rajendra College organized a discussion meeting on its campus Wednesday morning to observe July Mass Uprising Day-2026 on Wednesday.
The event commenced at 11:00 AM following the recitation of the Holy Quran, the rendition of the national anthem, a one-minute standing silence, and special prayers for the salvation of the souls of July fighters. Earlier at 10:00 AM, teachers and students paid floral tributes at the July Memorial under the initiative of the Faridpur district administration.
Chaired by Professor Kazi Nure Alam Siddiqui, convener of the July Mass Uprising Day Celebration Committee, and conducted by Associate Professor of Accounting Md. Shamsur Rahman, the discussion meeting was addressed by college Principal Professor SM Abdul Halim as the chief guest.
Other speakers included Vice-Principal Prof Md. Obaidur Rahman, Teachers' Council Secretary Md. Shahinur Islam, Head of Economics Prof Nurul Islam Khan, Lecturer in History Rashidul Islam, Assistant Professor of Chemistry Abdul Haque, along with college Chhatra Dal President Parvez Khan, General Secretary Abdur Rahim, and Senior Vice-President M. Mamunur Rahman.
The programme featured welcome remarks, speeches from student leaders, July fighters, and faculty members, concluding with a closing address by the chair.
