Dhaka Dist Jubo League convener Mizan surrendered at Mohipur PS

Dhaka District Jubo League Convener Mizanur Rahman alias GS Mizan surrendered at Mohipur police station in Patuakhali.
Mahipur Police Station OC Tariqul Islam said that he surrendered after going to the police station on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the police, Mizanur Rahman is the accused in several cases, including the murder of the alleged attack on the anti-discrimination student movement in Savar. After the fall of the government on August 5, he left his area Savar and went into hiding. After that he spent the night hiding in different areas.
OC Tariqul Islam said, 'Mizanur Rahman came to the police station around 3:30 pm. Surrendered for security reasons by identifying himself as the convener of Dhaka District Jubo League. Later we confirmed by talking to Savar police station that there are several cases against him.
This includes murder cases. He was then arrested and taken into police custody. We have asked the police of Savar police station to come quickly and take the accused into their custody. Mizanur Rahman is currently in police custody.
