Deed writers' meeting to protest against transfer of registration department to Lakshmipur

Document writers held a protest meeting in Lakshmipur as part of a central program to protest the initiative to transfer the Registration Department from the Law Ministry to the Land Ministry.
The program was held at the office of the Sadar Document Writers Association on Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
Speakers at the meeting demanded that the registration department be kept under the Ministry of Law and expressed solidarity with the central program.
The meeting was chaired by Lakshmipur Sadar Document Writers Association President Hasan Ahmed and was addressed by Vice President Abdul Malek Bhuiyan, General Secretary Tarequl Islam, Assistant General Secretary Abdul Mannan Babul, Organizing Secretary Ali Hossain Sharif, Office Secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman, Finance Secretary Kamrul Islam Raju and Publicity Secretary Ahmed Nur Sumon.
In addition, former presidents Nazrul Islam Babul, Monirul Haque Mia, former general secretary Belayet Hossain, and former associate general secretary Kamalur Rahim Manik Bhuiyan also spoke.
Former general secretary Jamal Uddin, members Abdul Mannan, Nurul Alam Mahmud, Nasir Uddin Sujan and other leaders of the association were also present at the meeting.
