Ansar members detain mugger in Narayanganj

Members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) detained a mugger while performing traffic management duties in the Narayanganj City Corporation area.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 PM on Saturday when an agitated crowd began chasing an alleged mugger in the city. As the suspect attempted to flee past a designated Ansar traffic duty post, the on-duty Ansar personnel intervened and apprehended him. The detainee was identified as Shakil Mia (19).
PC Md. Millad Biswas, along with Ansar members Md. Imran Nazir and Md. Shafiqul Islam, demonstrated prompt action in capturing the suspect, who was subsequently handed over to the local police for legal proceedings.
