Seerah recitation competition held in Panchhari with over hundred participants

A seerah recitation competition and prize-giving ceremony was held in Panchhari, Khagrachhari, to inspire the new generation about the life and ideals of Prophet Muhammad.
The event took place on Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm in the hall room of the Panchhari Upazila Model Mosque. It was organized by Risalatul Khair Bangladesh.
The event was presided over by Mufti Mohiuddin, president of the District Qawmi Madrasa and Ulama Unity Council. Maulana Habibullah Jahangir, adviser to the council, was present as chief guest of honor, and Alhaj Md. Belal Hossain, vice-president of the District BNP and president of the Panchhari Upazila BNP, was the chief guest.
The program was moderated by Maulana Shabbir Mahmud Rashidi, imam of the Panchhari Upazila Model Mosque.
More than a hundred participants from various educational institutions and madrasas in Panchhari took part in the competition. After it ended, prizes were presented to the winners.
The speakers said that the life and ideals of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are worth following in every sphere of human life.
Also present at the event were Ferdous Wahid, OC of Panchhari Police Station; Md. Yusuf Ali, general secretary of the Upazila BNP; Maulana Abul Kashem, principal of Panchhari Senior Madrasa; Rafiqul Islam Babul, head teacher of Ultachhari Higher Secondary School; Maulana Hasan Sharufi, imam and khatib of Bazar Central Mosque; along with teachers and students from various madrasas and local dignitaries.
